Healthline Internship

Healthline Internship Program

Our Healthline is operated by trained interns who provide information, referrals, advocacy and peer counseling about abortion, birth control, the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, prenatal care, health insurance, sexually transmitted infections and more, and who help organize transportation and funding assistance for our caller-partners. In addition to answering the healthline, interns often work on projects which may include updating and organizing the ACCESS’ Wiki, referral listings, information about organizations, health care providers and other resources available to low-income and uninsured women in California.

Here is what we want from you:

  • Work in our Oakland office during our healthline business hours (Monday – Thursday 9am-4pm; Friday 9am-1pm)
  • 12 hours minimum each week, 4 hour shifts three times a week (9am-1pm or 12-4pm).
*All Healthline Interns must participate in our Reproductive Justice in Action Training (RJAP). Click here to apply.
